It is a natural fact of life that people begin to lose control of their bladders once they reach a certain age. Instead of having to clean up after again and again diapers seem a much wiser solution to the problem.
As of 2008 there are have been a reported 400 kinds of adult diapers being sold in Japan. In this country one is not made fun of for wearing this product. Unlike what is presented in pop culture, the wearing of diapers by adults— for the most part— is not indicative of a psychological problem. Thus, the majority who wear it out of normal necessity should be respected.
It only seems natural that when you were a baby and could not take care of yourself, you had to wear diapers. In the same way, as you grow old and are unable to go to the bathroom at the right time or without assistance it should be natural that you wear diapers for your convenience and good health.
The very modern and serious country of Japan can see these products in a good light and the rest of the world should follow suit as well. Adult diapers are fashionable in Japan. Hopefully, other countries will likewise accept this as a normal necessity for seniors with bladder control problems.
